May 2007 - December 2007
- About the project
- A Safway crew of 12 spent approximately two months erecting more than 11,000 pieces of Systems™ Scaffold around the B.P. Coke Drums in Blaine, Wash. The scaffolding towered almost 100 feet in the air, included nine work levels and weighed about 182,000 pounds.
- The base of the scaffold started on the cement pad at the bottom of the drums, which is about 40 feet above ground level. Most of the project material was lifted to its final location by crane before being set into place.
